Baseball. Apple Pie. Rock N Roll. There are many wonderful things that define American culture, and the American Heritage Cabin celebrates all of it. On every floor of our 3 story cabin there are photos and memorabilia that highlight the great people and events in US history. We would love for you to join us and enjoy a slice of Americana in The Great Smoky Mountains.

Our designer-remodeled 4 bedroom, 4 bath, 2100 square foot cabin is stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. When you enter on the main floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a large island for up to 4 people, and a dining table that seats 10. You can cook a delicious feast for the family here, have meals delivered to the cabin, or even hire a local chef to come and cook for you onsite.

After a long day exploring all that Gatlinburg has to offer, relax in the living room with family and friends while playing shuffleboard & classic arcade games or just kick back and enjoy the serene mountain vibes. Right off the living room is a deck with a BBQ grill, dining table, and hot tub. Take in the gorgeous views of the Great Smoky Mountains while lounging in the rocking chairs.

The upper floor/loft has two newly remodeled bedrooms, each with a queen bed, mountain views, and TV with Roku. There is a shared full bathroom with walk-in shower and one extra folding bed (single) in the bedroom closet as well.

The bottom floor has two stylishly remodeled king master suites with new full bathrooms. Each bedroom has direct access to a deck that has a swing bench, a hammock chair and a beautiful mural painted by a local artist (perfect place for that group photo!).

Stay entertained and connected (if you choose!) without leaving the cabin. We have high speed WiFi and Roku TVs in every room. There is also a den with a new 70" 4K TV and a futon bed for one person.

The fully equipped laundry room is on the bottom floor as well.

The American Heritage Cabin is located in the Mountain Shadows Resort and is perfect for families, friends, and couples to come stay, relax, and unwind. Guests will have access to the resort's swimming pools (open May 1 - September 30), playground area, and pavilion for private parties (advance reservation required).

There is one security camera on the exterior of the cabin located to the upper right of the front door.  This camera can only see outside the cabin on the porch and parking area in front of the cabin.

There is no bedroom on the main floor. The bedrooms are on the lower and upper floors and are accessible by stairs (not wheelchair accessible).

There are 6 TVs with Roku Only (no Cable TV) with 400 Mbps Internet

The magnitude of the views is seasonal, depending on how thick the trees are.

Our cabin is professionally treated by a licensed pest control company. Please realize that you are in the Great Smoky Mountains and you will likely see and hear critters.

A starter pack of toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.) and toilet paper will be provided but you may need to bring your own for extended stays.

There are wildlife and bears in the area. Please do not leave food in your vehicles. Locals say that bears are like stray cats in the Smokies. If you encounter a cuddly looking bear, avoid approaching and feeding it. Last but not least - do not leave your favorite children unattended on the decks or the porch! ;-)
