Mountain Memories is an owner managed, intimate log cabin nestled in beautiful Sky Harbor. This unique log cabin is in a prime location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and is a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The cabin is easily accessible via well-maintained, paved roads and has off-road private parking. You will enjoy this quiet, wooded, low-traffic area with privacy from neighboring cabins.
The interior boasts of beautiful hardwood floors and exposed logs with unique, handcrafted cedar furnishings displaying wood-crafting expertise. Each piece of furniture was made to accent the beauty of this cabin and its quiet, peaceful surroundings.
Mountain Memories cabin is the perfect place for an anniversary retreat, a weekend escape, or a week-long vacation to relax and unwind with your spouse. You will enjoy the cozy ambiance of a beautifully decorated and well-maintained mountain cabin. You will find a fully equipped kitchen ideal for cooking if you choose not to leave the cabin during your stay. You will also enjoy nestling up on the reclining leather sofa and love seat, in front of the gas fireplace, to watch the flat screen TV.
You will enjoy quiet, restful sleep in the King-Size Master Suite with a memory foam mattress. You will also find a 39” flat screen TV in the armoire . The jetted jacuzzi tub in the bedroom will complete your romantic getaway.
For a better view of the mountain scenery, you may choose to relax and unwind as you watch for wildlife from the hot tub on the covered back porch. The hot tub features a reclining seat. You may choose to sit in the rocking chairs as you enjoy your morning coffee, or you may want to sit in the custom cedar log swing.
The spacious bathroom has a well-lit shower, linen closet, hair dryer and a quiet, energy efficient washer and dryer.
Escape to the loft to challenge your companion to a games, play some cards or board games at the tall cafe table, or simply relax and read a good book on the reclining leather sofa and love seat.
In front of the cabin, you will find that a handcrafted replica of an old-fashioned outhouse to contain your trash so the forest animals cannot access it. The front of the cabin has been beautifully landscaped with knockout roses and various perennials. There is also a charcoal grill with a stone bench and table for your convenience. Grilling utensils are provided. A bench has been added to the front porch, handcrafted from cedar, for guests to enjoy. Great place to relax while dinner is cooking on the grill.

This is a great little cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mountain Memories and would definitely recommend this cabin. The location is fantastic. It is conveniently located right between downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for a quick drive to everything. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed from linens to dishes, pots and pans. The hot tub and the jetted tub were great for relaxing in the evenings and the game room in the upstairs loft provides great entertainment. The cabin is small, but suited the needs of my husband and I just fine and would easily accommodate a small family of 4. Booking was very simple and communication from the owner was very satisfactory. He was very responsive and supplied us with directions, door code, WiFi code well enough in advance. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin. We will be back!

We enjoyed shooting some pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The location is perfect, right in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and a short drive to both.

We loved our stay in Mountain Memories. It’s in the perfect location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge off King’s Branch road. This cabin is ideal for a couple’s vacation, honeymoon, or anniversary!!! We would definitely stay here again!

We really were pleased with this very nice mountain cabin. It has all the features and creature comforts you could ask for in a comfortable and centrally located abode. Since we stayed during the Thanksgiving week, we were pleased with the festive holiday decorations which were tastefully placed around this two level cabin. We slept well each night in the great king size bed after a flurry of activities each day. Did we mention the location is very centrally located to get to all major activity areas within minutes. Try it, you like it! The kitchen is very adequate and we ate about half of our meals there and the rest in many of the abundant eateries within a short drive either north or south.

We loved this wonderful vacation cabin. The cabin was private and away from the hustle and bustle of of the parkway. The hot tub was relaxing after after a day of shopping or entertainment in Pigeon Forge. I loved the fact that you could close the blinds and block out all the light. I even slept until noon one day. Sitting in the rockers or swing on the deck with a good book was one our favorite pastimes. Although we are not pool players, the game room was there should we have wanted to use it. I can’t say enough good about this wonderful cabin getaway and recommend it to any couple looking to get away for a relaxing time.

We had a great trip! The cabin was in a convenient location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg about a 10 to 15 minute drive either way. This made it easy for us to eat breakfast in one of the towns and then go back to the cabin to get ready to go hiking. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be renting this cabin again! The owner was great and responded quickly to any and all of my questions! We were very pleased with our stay!

This cabin is everything you could want in a cabin in the Smokies! The area is beautiful and private yet close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin was extremely well cared for, super clean and had lovely details. The wood furniture was gorgeous and couch and bed were super comfy! The jetted tub in the master and hot tub on the back deck were perfect for relaxing after a long day playing tourist. We also enjoyed playing pool in the upstairs loft area. The fireplace is a lovely centerpiece to the main room and vaulted ceilings made it feel really open and inviting. The back porch has a swing, it is such a peaceful setting! I highly recommend this wonderful cabin for anyone wanting a relaxing get away with awesome amenities!

I love the Cozy feel.it was very clean. I love The View off the back porch from the hot tub. I also loved all the homemade things out of wood. (Tables, swing & lamps)I can't wait to stay there again.

The Edwards have one of the nicest cabins in the area. From the landscaping to the interior decor it was clean, cozy and made us feel at home. The back patio was very nice to sit with coffee or relax in the hot tub. Centrally located we weren't far from anything we wanted to do. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definately return!

Could not have asked for a better place to get away from all the cares of the world. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The view off the back porch was great and private. If we get the chance to get away again your Cabin will be our first choice.

We are VRBO owners ourselves and therefore have personal experience with the reality of vacation rentals. This cabin was exceptionally clean, well-organized and very comfortable for a couple. The owners were very helpful and responsive and made the entire experience a pleasure. The roads to the cabin are a bit confusing initially but one gets the lay of the land quickly; it is a quick and easy drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and GSMNP. There are many lodging options in the area, but you should not hesitate to choose this cabin as your base of operations while exploring the region. The porch hot tub is a wonderful benefit. Highly recommended.
