"FAMILY MAKING MEMORIES" is so close to great dinner theaters, outlet shopping, restaurants, and craft shops... not to mention Dollywood, Gatlinburg, the wonderful hiking trails, mountain streams, and views to be found in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Our cabin celebrates the best of life - the timeless pleasures of family, friends, laughter, and reflection. It summons us to a simpler place and time. It was built for good conversation, deep cups of coffee, and guiltless afternoon naps. Autumn here practically begs for a picnic; you have found the perfect escape for quiet, peace, and serenity, sunrises and sunsets over the mountains.
Admire the vibrancy of the honey-hued wooden interior walls as you enter this beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-level log home. The spacious living room provides comfortable log furniture including large flat-screen TV perfectly placed around the stone fireplace, which is a great place to watch your favorite sports team.
Prepare and enjoy tasty meals in the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area, where you’ll find seating for eight that is made from 100 year old reclaimed wood. Also for your convenience is a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker (drip style & K-cup), blender, waffle iron, electric griddle, slow cooker, silverware, dinnerware and quality cookware. “FAMILY MAKING MEMORIES” has it all; you just need to bring the food and appetite. If you decide to go out and enjoy some of the many restaurants in the area we provide a booklet in the cabin that list our favorites. One that we forgot to list was Krispy Crème Donuts, but that should be understood.
Try outside dining on our octagon shaped picnic table after grilling on the large gas grill. We also have a washer & dryer in case you drip a little BBQ sauce on the new shirt you just bought at one of the outlet stores. The cabin is fully equipped and furnished just waiting for your arrival.
You will have no trouble bringing the whole family. “FAMILY MAKING MEMORIES” has a king-sized bed in the main level master bedroom. Also on the main level is a queen bedroom, and there is a queen sofa sleeper for the kids in the living room. The upper level bedroom has two queen beds where you can watch TV or just catch up on your rest. Also on the upper level is a game room with a pool table, a game table, and a 32-inch TV, so bring your favorite board games or cards and let the fun begin. After dinner relax in the great outdoor private hot tub. This cabin offers Wi-Fi so bring along your laptop and stay connected with the rest of the world and those back home that are hard at work while you relax and enjoy the Smokies. “FAMILY MAKING MEMORIES” also has an AMAZON “ALEXA” ECHO DOTfor your enjoyment.All of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg’s action packed adventures are just a short car ride away.

Whatever your Smoky Mountain vacation plans may be we know you will enjoy your stay at our “no smoking” and “no pet” cabin. “FAMILY MAKING MEMORIES” can accommodate 8 adults maximum (10 total with all children, 17 and younger including small children and infants). You must be at least 25 years of age to rent. If you need additional lodging, we also rent other cabins in Eagles Ridge Resort.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT and PAYMENT: To secure your reservation there is a 25% Reservation Deposit by credit or debit card at the time of booking. Eagles Ridge Resort is a log cabin community centrally located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. This quiet, serene mountain setting is less than 1 1/2 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and just a short car ride away to all of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg’s action packed adventures. There are no steep hills or winding roads to access the cabin. The roads are paved and we have parking for up to 3 vehicles.

They cabin was beautiful just as in pictures completely clean very easy check in check out and nice quiet area very close to pigeon forge about 5 min ride and only about 15 minutes from gatlingsburg so perfect for checking out all attractions in both areas also has a book with tons of recommendations for things todo and places to eat so made it easy to plan a weeks worth of fun we will definitely consider visiting again and staying at families making memories once again of available

We had the opportunity of enjoying 1 of our sons and daughter-in-law (without the grandkids) and we all had such a wonderful time. The cabin had plenty of room, set up nicely and we really enjoyed the pool room. The location is excellent! Literally a stones throw away from everything! We definitely were a “Family Making Memories” this weekend and it was awesome!

We chose this general area because it is located right behind the Publix and Dollar General. We have small children and having quick access to those locations and circumventing all of the crazy traffic on the main drag is so helpful to getting to enjoy ourselves when inevitably we forgot something or had some emergency. This cabin is 4 minutes to both of those stores and then an easy jump across the main drag to Dollywood. This was a very nice neighborhood with other similar rental units. It was quiet and we felt safe. We had 4 adults and 5 young children. We felt we had plenty of room - cooked meals, spent time together in the family room, and spent time apart in the game room upstairs. The house is equipped with a Roku Tv with hulu and netflix - made those moments when the adults needed a break very manageable. We thought it was a great value - were very comfortable - and had a wonderful weekend spent with our family. Would happily rent here again.

Our family had a great stay at this cabin. This was our first time taking our girls to the mountains. They thought the cabin was cozy and charming. Location is everything, and we were a 5-10 minute drive from all of the major Pigeon Forge attractions. We will definitely consider coming back to this cabin when we return to Pigeon Forge in the future.

We were in town for a funeral. We booked this property, last minute. I was so pleased with the accommodations and the location. I had forgotten my email of detailed check-in. So, when I emailed the owner, he got right back to me. Now, that is service.

This was our second stay at the cabin Family Making Memories. We loved the cabin just as much as we did the first time. It's in a great location, very clean and has all the amenities you could possibly need. I would maybe suggest upgrading the T.V.'s in the bedrooms but that wouldn't deter me from staying at the cabin again.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was very clean and we had everything we needed during our 3-night stay (including laundry). The cabin has lots of space and ample seating in the living area (much nicer than being cooped up in a hotel room). There were plenty of extra towels, pillows, and blankets and the beds were quite comfortable. It's also very close to the grocery, drug store, LeConte Convention Center, the Old Mill, and plenty of other restaurants (all of which we went to at one time or another during our stay).

I read several reviews on VRBO before deciding to book this cabin so I knew to expect some "pests" and issues with the hot tub. I am giving this cabin four stars instead of five because we did have issues with the fireplace, hot tub and toilets throughout our stay. The owner is extremely responsive and did send someone out to look at the fireplace the next morning but we were not around.The hot tub would not stay on more than five minutes at a time before turning off and both toilets had to be plunged after almost every use. I did not contact the owner regarding the hot tub or toilets during our stay because we dealt with those on our own. Yes, there are ladybugs EVERYWHERE inside the cabin but most were dead. I swept the floors everyday to keep them under control. Upon arrival the cabin was very clean (with the exception of dead ladybugs in the downstairs bath and kitchen). We enjoyed the layout of the cabin and distance to the main strip in Pigeon Forge. It is easy get lost driving in (especially when it is dark) but after a couple of trips in and out, it's easy to find. We cooked a huge Thanksgiving meal at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed from a hand mixer down to Sharpie markers to write our names on our drinking cups. Overall we really enjoyed the cabin and recommend it to other travelers!

We just spent three days at the cabin with my three sons all 12 and under. We had a great trip and a great time in the cabin during our stay.
The cabin was just as advertised and everything was in good working condition and clean.
I had excellent communications with owner / manager!
No issues whatsoever.

The cabin was clean, very well stocked and has plenty of room. we were far enough away we couldn’t hear the traffic. Actually we didn’t hear anything yet we were only minutes from all the action. Would love to stay here again. Was a little disappointed the cabin wasn’t decorated for Christmas since it was the first week of Winterfest.

My family loved everything about this cabin! It is neat, clean and quite spacious! It's location is convenient to all the major attractions and it's not too far up the mountain, which I appreciated! The kitchen has everything thing that you will need. The beds are cozy. All in all, this cabin helped make my rare family vacation perfect!
