POSSUM HOLLAR is a spacious 1,958 square foot home with 4-KING BEDROOMS! This vacation getaway is nestled in Eagles Ridge Resort log cabin community in the beautiful Smoky Mountains and you will love the personality and charm of this rustic cabin.
Eagles Ridge Resort is a log cabin community centrally located with no steep hills or winding roads to access the cabin. The roads are paved and we have parking for up to 4 vehicles. This quiet, serene mountain setting is less than 1.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway between stop lights #3 & #4 and just a short car ride away to all of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg’s action packed adventures such as Dollywood, Five Oaks Tanger Outlets, music theaters, restaurants, and craft shops.
The layout of the cabin has been thoughtfully planned so guests can enjoy each other’s company, yet also find their own space. An ideal three-level floor plan provides a master suite with King size bed and private Jacuzzi on the upper level, one king bedroom on the main floor level and two king bedrooms on the lower level. The upper level bedrooms have 42-inch Smart TV’s and the two lower level bedrooms have 32-inch Smart TV’s. There are also two sittings areas, each with a queen sofa sleeper (for the kids), a gas fireplace, and a 50-inch Smart flat screen TV and BlueRay DVD's. The cabin is equipped with wireless internet access, an Amazon Echo Dot, air hockey, gas grill, and a washer and dryer all for your convenience and fun!
Enjoy the open air design of the great room, kitchen and dining areas where you can entertain, have easy conversation, curl up with a book in front of the warm, stacked stone gas fireplace, or watch a movie. The kitchen is well-appointed for staying in and making meals. It is equipped with a full size stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, drip & K-cup style coffee pot, blender, waffle iron, electric griddle, crockpot, toaster and more. The dining room table allows seating for eight, where the family can enjoy great meals! Or venture outside to grill out and soak in some fresh mountain air on the deck before soaking in the hot tub!
Whatever your Smoky Mountain vacation plans may be, we know you will enjoy your stay at our no smoking, no pet cabin. It’s the perfect escape for peace and quiet so book your vacation now! POSSUM HOLLAR can accommodate 8 adults maximum (12 total with all children, 17 and younger including small children and infants). You must be at least 25 years of age to rent. If you need additional lodging, we also rent other cabins in Eagles Ridge Resort.

I rented the cabin for my family of 11. We brought our 3 adult children and their spouses/significant others and our 3 small grandchildren and this cabin was perfect! I think the photos and descriptions don’t do it justice … more beautiful in person!

The location is close enough to be convenient and secluded enough to be peaceful! The beds and pillows were very comfy per everyone in the group, ages 21-72. I did not know the kitchen was on 2nd floor, and we do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen had everything a cook needs!! So many things!!! We are returning in April and will look at this cabin again.. or at least do business with this company.

We recently rented Possum Hollar and so enjoyed the cabin and especially the location. I am such a flatlander and driving in the mountains is terrifying to me. I was able to drive to any of the events, restaurants, stores etc. that I wanted to go to. Our group enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching others in the neighborhood. There were a couple of items, but I shared this with the owner and his response was appropriate. My only concern was the number of stairs that were in the cabin as my Mom was also part of our group.

We were supposed to be on an 8 day cruise, but this took it's place well. While myself and spouse have been to the area many times the rest of the family had not been there in years. Needless to day they had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin.

Enjoyable, and affordable. We had some noise form the cabin down the street, and had to call the police. There's also a message on the friedge to do so if the neighbos are loud, so this must be a thing. We did and they took care of it. No problems after that. Great place, ample space, good communication all around. Would book again.

My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Opossum Holler cabin. The rooms and home are very comfortable and there is plenty of seating in the home for relaxation. The porch was a treat to sit on a rocking chair and relax. Very peaceful and quiet in the cabin community here. Gorgeous views and scenery. Would not recommend for anyone who has troubles with climbing stairs. There are 2 flights of stairs throughout because it is a 3 story home. But other than that we would recommend to anyone and we would come back and visit again.

The cabin was just as described. It was clean and charming. Start up supply of everything we needed. Check in was easy ( 4 digit code and you are in ) beats waiting in line at cabin rentals offices ! Beds were comfortable , all appliances were in great working order. Great location for attractions. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay in the mountains.

Everything was accurate and we truly enjoyed our stay. The guys went motorcycle riding for a few days. The only complaint is that the HVAC system does not handle all 3 floors well. The basement (1st floor) was very cold, we had to cover the vent in one of the rooms. Only 1 thermostat on the main floor. Other than that, no issues and conveniently located near town.

The kitchen was well stocked. The linens were fresh and clean, even the extra blankets were plentiful and fresh. They thought of everything. Only negative was bottom floor air froze you to death while second and third floor was hot, needs separate units or some way to cut off air vents on bottom floor so others floors get more air. We would still rent this unit again! Great place!

The cabin was clean and nicely setup. It was very close to the Parkway! The beds were comfy and clean. The upstairs TV had an issue with the sound, but we didn't really use it. The downstairs bathroom was on the small side. However the other two bathrooms were very spacious. The couches were very large and comfy. The floor plans make the entry door appear like you enter into the cabin into the livingroom with the dining room. However the entry is in the basement. Just a note to let you know that you do need to go up stairs to get to the main floor. The hot tub was great and clean. Parking was great, plenty of room for a few cars. Over all the cabin was great, highly recommended!!0

We had 4 adults and 4 children on our trip to Pigeon Forge. Possum Hollar had all the amenities we could ask for including a griddle to make french toast and a crock pot that we let a roast simmer while out doing kids things. The Echo Dot was a real lot of fun. The kids were asking Alexa questions day and night. We have an Echo Dot at home but have never seen one in a cabin or hotel that we have stayed before. Thank you very much for the very clean cabin. We tried our best to leave it in the same shape as when we arrived. We will return.

We choose this cabin because of 4 king beds. Most cabins just have one but Possum Holler has four. It was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice & roomy. It was close to many attractions, so it was very convenient to go out & explore. My only complaint was the size of the downstairs bathroom. With 2 bedrooms on that floor, it was cramped for 4 people to be sharing that space. Overall, we all had a wonderful experience!

We have booked Possum Hollar several times in the past with the previous rental company. We were very fortunate to find it listed this time online on VRBO. Mr Hubbell was very easy to work with and pricing was more attractive than our previous visits. The new sofabeds were a real plus for us and our grandkids. We appreciated the cabin being so clean and the special touch with the Dawn and Cascade that we have never seen at any other cabin. We try to come back to Possum Hollar because of the 4 king size beds and the great location.
