My first impressions were great! Even more beautiful views of the lake than portrayed on the website We certainly made some great memories the past 5 nights here. Such a comfortable place and spectacular views with my morning coffee on the porch!

The lodge itself is beautiful, rustic and very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. All the rooms were clean with great views. Nantahala lake and the surrounding area are gorgeous with activities such as boating, water skiing, and white water rafting nearby. In the evenings we spent time in the large game room playing pool, card games and watching movies. I highly recommend the Moose Lodge to anyone seeking the peaceful tranquility of Nantahala.

From the moment you arrive the picturesque views set your tone of contentment. The lake views from the inside and outside of the lodge are so relaxing and inviting. The lodge itself is quite charming and cozy. The game room is my favorite room. It provides hours of fun with its pool table, Foosball table, tabletop shuffleboard, dart boards, music, movies and lots of card/board games. The patio is another favorite spot, at the fire pit and grilling out on the new gas grill. Boating, paddling, swimming or just sitting on the dock is extremely serene. What a magical place to gather and build great memories. The owner of the lodge is the perfect host.
Oh, I cannot conclude without making mention of the outdoor lodge “watch cat”, Deebo, as he defines hospitality.
