Gypsy Road is located on a TOTALLY PRIVATE 1.5-acre lot in the Wears Valley area of the Smoky Mountains. If you want privacy, but still be close to the action, this is the place for you!
We have several screened and covered wrap-around decks looking out over an acre of quiet woods. We offer contactless check-in, WiFi, and DirecTV in every room.
Gypsy Road is perfect for romantic couples' getaways, friend retreats, or family getaways. We look forward to hosting you!

LOCATION
Gyspy Road is located at the end of a private road, one mile up the mountain from Wear’s Valley Road, in the Wear’s Valley area of Sevierville. This location is a favorite of those who want to stay on the “Quiet Side” of the Smokys!
We are just a few miles down Wears Valley from the Foothill Parkway, less than 10 miles from the city of Townsend, and approximately 18 miles to Dollywood.
KITCHEN, DINING, AND LIVING AREA
With the comfy reclining Sofa and Armchair, everyone can find their favorite spot in the cabin to relax and recharge. The living room has a flat-screen TV with DirecTV and a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. The windows that look out to the side deck bring the beauty of the outdoors inside.
Gypsy Road has a fully equipped kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator and dishwasher, so you can easily prepare all of your meals. The kitchen is stocked with all of the pots, pans, and baking items you should need to make memorable meals. There is a microwave, toaster, and a Combo K-Cu/Drip Coffee Maker.
The dining area has seating for 6 and is the perfect place to enjoy a home-cooked meal.
LOFT
The Loft is yet another inviting space for our guests to enjoy! Recline, relax and watch one of the premium satellite channels or play a retro arcade game on our stand-up Barrel Arcade Game. But please don’t beat our high score on Donkey Kong!
BEDROOMS
The home has two bedrooms, one up and one down. The main level bedroom has a Queen Size bed and is directly across from the main level bathroom.
Upstairs you will find the spacious primary bedroom, with a brand new King Size Mattress, an en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub, and an amazing screened-in porch with rocking chairs.
Each of the two bedrooms has its own television with DirecTV.
BATHROOMS
Gypsy Road has two bathrooms one up and one down. The upstairs en-suite bathroom is outfitted with a jetted tub and the downstairs has a walk-in shower. All bathrooms have fluffy towels, and starter sets of soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
LAUNDRY
In the loft, you will find a full-size Stacking Washer/Dryer in the laundry closet. We provide detergent for your first load but we do suggest bringing your favorite laundry soap if you plan to stay for a few days.
OUTSIDE
Gypsy Road has plenty of outdoor spaces, and plenty of rocking chairs, for relaxing with total privacy! The house has a covered wraparound deck on the main level, and an open deck on the upper area.
On the back deck, you will find a screened room that houses our brand new Hot Tub and, of course, there is a private screened-in porch accessible from the Primary Bedroom. There is also a propane grill and table
POOL
We offer seasonal access to the pool at Honeysuckle Meadows, just a mile from the house. The pool area has available lounges and umbrella tables, and a deli with sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and snacks. Bring a rod, or rent one here, and try your luck with the Catch and Release Fishing Pond!

The cabin was truly amazing! We didn’t want our trip to end. The artwork was beautiful, the couches were so plush and the King bed was so comfortable- best sleep ever! We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning, grilled out and enjoyed dinners outside. Such a beautiful spot.

Stacia & Larry's Gypsy Road Cabin is perfectly secluded and is also convenient short drive to town for dinner and entertainment. It was everything we needed our vacation to the Smoky Mountains to be. The cabin is beautifully decorated, well-appointed and cozy with a wrap-around porch that seems to go on for miles! We highly recommend this property.

We brought our granddaughter who thought this was the best cabin in Tennessee! The Pac-Man game was a hit as well as the hot tub! Furnishings are comfortable and tasteful. The wrap-around porch is the perfect place for morning coffee!

Amazing cabin!!! Extremely clean & well kept. Beautiful secluded setting!! Loved the game room & the screened in porches and decks! Great location that allows you to explore Pigeon Forge, Sevierville & Gatlinburg areas all within a 15-30min drive. The private road to reach the cabin is gravel & has a steep entry/exit off the main road & at the top of cabin’s driveway. It definitely could be challenging for some vehicles. We managed fine with our Chrysler Pacifica Mini-Van in the summer but winter time would be a different story. We’ve been traveling to the Smoky Mountains for the last 6 years and this was by far our favorite cabin & the best host! Host provided exceptional information prior to arrival & checked in with us throughout our stay. We will definitely rent from them again in the future!

Absolutely beautiful cabin! Very remote & quiet with a lot of wildlife. We saw a bear with her 3 cubs. About a 20-25 minute ride to all pigeon forge. We very much enjoyed our stay!

It was SUPER! Very Easy and Communication with the owner was Great! The house was Wonderful. The only thing I would note is there is no view of the mountains! Tress are cleanly cut back away from the house but the view is strictly Forest Only! We did enjoy our stay but would like to of been able to see a mountain range of some kind.

This cabin was exactly as advertised! It was the perfect place for my family. Easy to find up in the mountain and as it may be secluded it isn’t crazy far from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Everything was clean and up kept. It was super peaceful to wake up and sit out on the many different porches and listen to the wildlife. I highly recommend this cabin!!

The property is very beautiful and clean. It is really secluded and off of the main road. It has a very steep driveway but you can park at the top of the driveway on a parking area and walk down if you want. We were extremely pleased with the hosts and the digital guide they provided. They even emailed the first day to make sure everything was going well. Highly recommend!

Exactly as described. Beautiful, clean place. Very comfortable and private. They even had small lights on that made you feel very welcome and not lost in the dark. We even had a visit from a bear.

This is a place you want to go if you want a beautiful scenery and privacy. It’s about 20 minutes driving to all the major things. Kitchen is fully equipped. Inside of the cabin was clean and enough bath towels were provided. We really like the balcony and it was fully screened. The only thing that we think could be improved is to power wash the decker, so we won’t bring dusk from the porch into the house. Another thing, the bed is very comfortable.

Amazing girls weekend to relax and rewind! we had a little trouble at first finding the cabin in dark but we didn't read the directions thoroughly so that was definitely our fault! Secluded cabin at the end of a long private drive and it has amazing views. Waking to the sounds of all the birds outside was perfect! Will definitely book this cabin again!

My husband and I came for our 20 year Wedding Anniversary. The cabin was everything we had hoped for. We had only booked it for two days, wish we could've stayed longer. We will definitely be back. We came in at night in the snow. Glad we had 4-wheel drive. The cabin was very private which is what we like. If you are looking for a quite simple place to get away, this is the cabin for you.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was well appointed and has the BEST blankets to snuggle up under. We loved the open concept so that we were always “together” even when our teens wanted some space upstairs. The remote location was perfect for our family. The BEST day of ANY vacation we’ve ever had was when we set out on foot exploring. We found a beautiful stream (that we could hear from the cabin) that went from a trickle to a beautiful waterfall (about 1.5 hrs of hiking from the cabin). It was lovely to return to the cozy cabin to relax afterward. We also spent several days enjoying Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which are just a short drive away.

This was a very comfy cabin! The bed was great, there were recliners on the sofas and blankets everywhere. It was perfect for lounging around. Also lots of outdoor spaces with decks and balconies, both screened and unscreened. The kitchen is very well equipped! It is remote but we didn’t mind that. We had a great time!
