"What A Blessing" is a gorgeous and spacious newly remodeled 2 bed, 2 bath log cabin with a lot of extra amenities, nestled in the 24/7 Guard gated community of the Shagbark Resort (about 10 minutes from the Shagbark guard gate to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and you come out at light #3 which is Wears Valley Rd., right in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge).

FREE ACCESS TO A FISHING POND & A SECOND POOL! Not only do you have access to the very nice pool in the Shagbark Community, our guests now have access to a Fishing Pond and a second Olympic size Swimming Pool with a Kiddie Pool and a great Deli, which is convenient and a beautiful 8 mile drive out Wears Valley Rd.! (Open Daily May-October 10:00am-9:00pm).

What A Blessing is beautifully decorated with very comfortable log beds, and we have installed a stacked washer & dryer (laundry soap, Downy & dryer sheets provided)! A comfy King log bed is located in the loft, a comfy Queen log bed is located in the main level bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room which sleeps 2 additional guests. The main level has the living room with a ceiling fan, a beautiful stone gas burning fireplace (in season), a 52" plasma flat screen TV with Direct TV that includes the NFL Sunday Ticket Channel, a DVD library, a leather reclining chair, a love-seat, a sleeper sofa, the fully stocked kitchen, a bedroom with a very comfortable queen size mattress which has a ceiling fan, a full bath (with plush towels), and a 60 game 2 player Video Arcade table set on free play. In the loft there's a comfy King size log bed (this is not a closed bedroom, but very cozy and private), a ceiling fan, and a full bath. Also relax privately under the stars in the nice hot tub on the private deck, also located on the main level. This cabin has a blacktop driveway with a parking area, so you can drive right up to the cabin!

Thia was my Dad's first time to the Smokies and this cabin was perfect for us! The view is beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed and then some! My kids loved the games and the hot tub was very relaxing!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The amenities were also great. We spent an evening at the fishing pond and enjoyed the tennis courts. Owner was very responsive to any of our questions.

We had a late spring girls trip for four. The cabin was the perfect size, and absolutely adorable! We saw a bear beneath the deck on our second day. This was our 2nd time renting from Rod, he is a pleasure to work with. Stay to the right when pulling in the driveway!!!😬

This cabin is a beautiful country cabin with an amazing view! Quiet location yet close enough to town, perfect location! Rod is very good at checking in and asking if you need anything. The drive up will take your breath away! Tom C

Rod was a solid host and WHAT A BLESSING was perfect. A kitchen with all the necessary tools was a huge help. The hot tub was a bonus, though four fully grown adults was a snug fit. The towels have fabric softener on them, so they aren't real absorbent. The floors were spotless AND washed. Loved the place.

The cabin itself is cute. We enjoyed the tennis court, hot tub, and walk inside the community. The weather was too cold, but we found other things to do other than hiking.
