"When I go to the mountains with my extended family or close friends for a getaway or reunion, I want to relax and fully enjoy the atmosphere, the gorgeous mountain view, the streams, the fresh outdoor air, and wildflowers. This way, we can reconnect and feel our heart's desires while immersing ourselves in the beauty of life - loving our family and being loved for who we are. Fortunately, the Bliss cabin provides the perfect place to achieve all this.”
The Bliss Cabin is located in the desirable Wears Valley near the park's Mid Calf Bottom entrance, 8 miles from the Pigeon Forge stripe. It has all-the-way access to a two-lane paved road, guaranteeing no steep, narrow streets. Rhododendrons and mountain streams surround the cabin, so walk around and marvel at the gorgeous views! Unlike a cabin in a typical resort that feels scrunched, the location has a relaxed atmosphere and breathing space.
The cabin is uniquely built from tree logs. The stone foundation supports log columns with wrap-around decks. The property is 2 acres, and a mountain stream flows into it. It is viewable from the deck with a bubbling sound. A stone-built fire pit sits next to the stream.
The spa tub and propane gas grills are on the wrapped 360 surrounding deck, with plenty of outdoor settings to soak in the gorgeous views and fresh air.
The cabin has a unique 156-inch screen home theater system and leather recliner seats. The living room, with a stone fireplace and a propane gas log with a timer for quick usage, is furnished with a comfy leather recliner sofa and an oversized lounger. The living room and theater make one substantial open area so friends and family can relax while enjoying a football game or a movie. The dining area has a hand-made 12-foot table where all guests can sit in one place to enjoy a wonderful meal. Other entertainment includes foosball, Billiards, a chess/checker game table, an Artesian spa with 60 jets, a lounger seat, a shoulder massager, a waterfall, and color-changing LED lights.
For each successful rental, you must be able to meet the following requirements:
1. You must be a person of integrity, which means you put down the correct number of adults aged 15 and older. Anyone below 15 is considered a child, including a newborn.
2. When you make a reservation for a group, you must be able to lead the rest of the group so that they follow the house rules.
3. If the group size ever needs to be changed, a change fee and an additional person fee could apply. The number of children should be less than the number of responsible adults.
4. If the dates need to be altered for any reason, we may be able to accommodate them after a mutual agreement. It must be discussed no later than one month ahead.
5. The best result for a great vacation is keeping headcounts at 75 percent, which means a 14-person house is best used by 10, never the other way around, or it spills disaster for you. Book yourself a more significant place to start with. It's more expensive to book but saves you money and headaches.
6. Anytime you exceed the property's occupancy capacity with extra guests, regardless of whether they are nightly guests or visitors, you will be asked to leave without refunds.
7. The rates listed are for up to 10 people, although the cabin can sleep up to 12.

This year our gift to everyone was a trip to Tennessee. We had a total of 10 adults and one child. The cabin fit all of us quite well. The table in the dining room is amazing and the projector tv was awesome. The location was great. Close enough to everything but not like cabin on top of cabin. The house is beautifully decorated. After everyone left we even were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay another 4 nights for some alone time. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We had zero problems, everything went smoothly. We definitely will be back again! Thank you Virginia!!!!

The cabin was located in a beautiful location and was close to everything. The wrap around deck and stream that ran through the rear of the property was amazing. The dining room table was perfect for our large family and we enjoyed the large projector screen in the living room. The downsides were, The grill available was dirty, we didn’t even use it and left for the next group our two bags of charcoal, there were cob webs in the kitchen, on all light fixtures, curtains through out entire cabin. The little signs around the cabin that are worded very rudely did not make us feel welcome. The floors especially in the bathrooms haven’t been moped in a very long time. All the toilets run constantly and the toilet seats shift when you sit on them. The T.V in the downstairs bedroom with the king bed never worked and the battery’s were flashing low on day one. When sitting on the deck we were swarmed by carpenter bees that have made several holes/ nests in the wood siding. The worst part was the mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinet next to stove and on the box springs of two downstairs beds. In all we had a great trip and enjoyed our stay for the most part. This review isn’t to make people stay away it is meant for an honest review after spending over $5000 for a week with over $400 for cleaning. We made sure when we left we left the cabin in better condition than we received it. We are hoping the next renter will benefit from this review.

Loved the cabin and the area. Would have liked to have had a shower in the bathroom on the upper floor.

This home is gorgeous! The rhododendron all over the property makes it feel special. The fire pit was an excellent place to hang out and gather. You can hear the little creek from the porch too and that is just a wonderful sound for a mountain vacation. The kitchen was nicely outfitted, plenty of towels, linens, etc. The hot tub was great as well. Worked like a charm! The interior was plenty of space, 4 bedrooms, and lot of extra places to relax and nap throughout the living area. The master bedroom is a loft upstairs, but it does have curtains on the bed rail if you're looking for privacy. We definitely were able to make it work. We had to evacuate a little early due to a nearby wildfire and Virginia was wonderful in communicating with us and making sure we were aware and comfortable. All of the beds were very comfortable. The only small hiccup we had was sometimes the water pressure was low, but we figured out that topping off the hot tub drained it and so we waited an hour and it was fine. Thats part of mountain living. No complaints - would definitely recommend! Thank you Virginia for allowing us to have such a wonderful vacation in your home.
