Welcome to Mimosa Sunrise, a newly-built luxury log cabin, which was completed in February 2023. Mimosa Sunrise is a stunning 6 bedroom, 6 1/2 bathroom modern mountain lodge with an impressive list of amenities. As you pull into the flat circle drive and walk through the double doors, you will be amazed at the magnificent views of the Smoky Mountains from this large 3 story cabin!

Mimosa Sunrise is owned by the same owner, built by the same builder, located in the same area, and cleaned and maintained by the same crews as the very popular and highly rated Summit Castle. Since that cabin was built in 2018, the cabin has received all 5 star reviews (93 of them!), which is extremely rare. 

This spacious Pigeon Forge cabin has enough room for multiple families and couples. The adults will be happy with the four king bed suites and one suite with two queen beds, each having a dedicated full bathroom. The kids and kids at heart will be ecstatic with their sleeping options, including a bunk room that sleeps up to 8, a cabin bed with trundle, a futon, and a daybed with trundle (in one of the king bed rooms, ideal for kids who want to sleep in the same room as their parents). For the comfort of all guests, this cabin is recommended for no more than 17 adults and for no more than 22 guests total, including adults and teenagers/kids who can sleep on the bunk beds, daybeds and futon.

Located off of Wears Valley Road, you will find an entertainment paradise! This cabin offers a wide variety of amenities such as two extensive mountain view game areas: (1) the loft with a pool table and large solid wood poker table and (2) the lower level game room with Golden Tee, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, Boss Toss bean bag game and and Multicade arcade system (containing tons of classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac-Man, etc.). The lower level also contains a theater room with comfy reclining theater seats and a massive 86" QNED 4K TV with premium cable, On Demand and access to your personal streaming services (through Xfinity). Children will have fun in their very own cabin playhouse/bed and playing Xbox One X in the bunk room.

Mimosa Sunrise features a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen with soft close cabinets and granite countertops. Feeding a large group is a breeze with 2 ovens, 2 built-in microwaves, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, pots and pans, cooking utensils and ample counter space to prep. All guests will be able to dine together on the 2 large tables, long kitchen island with 5 stools, and 2 outdoor dining tables and kid table on the covered area just outside the dining area.

Looking for a more laid back environment? This cabin also offers your very own large hot tub and a resort-style gas fire pit. Rock your cares away in the cabin’s many rocking chairs and two porch swings. Each morning, you can awake to beautiful mountain views that leave no doubt why they are called the Smoky Mountains.

In this 24/7 world, we can rarely getaway from our jobs. Mimosa Sunrise has its own mountain-view log desk and chair, and fast Wifi.

Our group takes an annual trip to the Great Smoky Mountains each year for a getaway from the stress of daily life - after the holidays, before spring, no kids, just to reset and relax. Each year we look for a special place that will accommodate us (a group of 10) with a large space with plenty of amenities, fully stocked, a theater room, bathrooms for each bedroom and lots of relaxation space and the million dollar view of the mountains.

Mimosa Sunrise checked every single box off our list and then some. As we entered the front door, the view is the first thing we noticed and it is seen from the front door through the kitchen, dining area, through the expansive living room and out the double sliding doors that opened to the main level deck that was the centerpiece and feature of our visit. The “wow” factor only just begun as we saw the luxurious firepit with plenty of seating for our group and the rocking chairs and loungers available to relax in especially on this particular day in February that was 75 degrees at midday.

We were all like kids exploring the house and picking out our bedrooms and each bedroom offered more than we expected. All bedrooms had beautiful en suite bathrooms with tubs and showers. All were fully stocked with plenty of towels, hand towels and washcloths!

Let me not skip the kitchen! Two of every major appliance!?!!!! Two ovens, two microwaves, two dishwashers, two sinks! And two large refrigerators! We LOVED the open concept of the kitchen, dining and living room where we often gathered comfortably and shared great stories and laughs and conversations!

Downstairs we found the most amazing games and bedrooms! This is paradise for the young or young at heart! From the media room, air hockey, to ping pong!! And many more! But my favorite was the porch swings. Wow. Never ever had porch swings at a cabin rental. These were utilized more than any amenity I believe. So relaxing looking out over the beautiful mountains and resetting was perfection!

Now the hot tub was also exquisite! It was large and hot and perfect for the aches and pains and great for relaxation once the air cooled down.

The top floor offered more games!! A pool table and poker table! And another bedroom. It was ALL perfection!

In renting cabins from multiple owners in the area, Mindy and Mike take extra care in making sure your visit is as perfect as it can be and this cabin could not have been anymore perfect for our group. We loved every aspect of the comfort of the cabin from the large, spacious living area to the quiet areas like the porch swings. They make your visit special every time and make you feel like you are the only guests that matter to them, year after year.
