The property was nice and well maintained, and the screened in hot tub was definitely a plus! The drive from the cabin to downtown Gatlinburg was not far, and yet the cabin was remote enough to offer good opportunities for bear sightings! This place will be definitely be at the top of my list for any return trips!

Gatlinburg is an opportunity to split our road trip from Georgia to Ohio into 2 days and it is surrounded by the beautiful smoky mountains. We wanted the opportunity to stay somewhere in the mountains and experience some of the charm of the region on our way through. The misty mountain cabin fit our needs perfectly. The family enjoyed watching a movie together, sitting in the hot tub and playing some vintage video games tucked away up in the mountain side.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Within 30 minutes of arriving, we saw a bear cub walking across the back porch! That wasn’t our only encounter. We ended up spotting the mama bear and her two cubs wandering through the neighborhood a few times.The house was even better than expected, spacious, beautifully kept, and fully stocked with everything we needed, from dishes to pots and pans. The location was perfect too: peaceful, scenic, and just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.There was so much to do in the area. We only wish we had more time to stay!

We decided what we were gonna do and we packed our bags for the Misty Mountain and asked if we could stay awhile… and we did!! What a great place!! Convenient to everything. Also very peaceful, if you just want to hang close. We would definitely stay again. The owners do it up right with the communications before arriving.

This property was pretty much exactly as described in the listing. The main floor was an open and inviting space, great for hanging out with the family, preparing/eating meals, watching TV, playing games. Nice access to the outdoor space from the living room (although it was a little too cold when we stayed). Upstairs offered the comfort and privacy of separate bedrooms and bathrooms with easy access to the screened porch and hot tub, which was enjoyed by our family several times during our stay. Access roads in and out of the property appeared to be well maintained and on the one occasion we got some snow, salt was brought and put on the driveway by who we assume is one of the owners. Communication prior to our stay was timely and informative. The digital guidebook was very thorough and well developed. Other amenities at the property, like the dishwasher and washer/dryer, were a definite plus. Proximity to local attractions was great. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorably decorated cabin. It was a perfect place to rest and relax which we did. The king bed was very comfortable and we slept great while here. The fireplace was enjoyable as well as the hot tub. Overall a terrific getaway!

This cozy, private cabin is exactly what you need to relax and unwind. The cabin had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. One of the few cabins that has a wood burning fireplace, which we used every night we were there. Super private yet close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had such a good time that if the cabin hadn't been rented already we would of stayed another couple of nights. Thank you Stacia & Larry for being awesome hosts!

Our day 1 plans to hike were canceled due to storms...and it was wonderful! We were able to hang out in the hot tub, watch some shows, cook, and just catch up with each other - all in the clean, quiet of this awesome home and neighborhood. Day 2 took us to nearby hiking

My sisters and I traveled together for a retirement celebration trip. The house was very comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. We really appreciated the hot tub. Every evening after a day of hiking and hill climbing, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot water.
Our only concern was the remote location, and the tiny twisty roads required to reach the house. None of us are used to roads that narrow, with no lines or guard rails, and drop offs so close to the road. None of us felt safe driving after dark, so once we were in, we stayed there until morning. As an older driver, I would have appreciated knowing about the roads.
The house was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the cabin. It was a beautiful, peaceful area and perfect for our needs. The living room was cozy and comfortable. The bear theme was super cute. Our cell phone service was weak so it was wonderful that the WiFi worked great. We so enjoyed sitting in the hot tub listening to the rain that came through while we were there. Stacia and Larry were very responsive and sent helpful information prior to and during our stay. I highly recommend downloading the link they send prior to the stay that contains info about the cabin along with a local area guide and maps which were so helpful.

This was everything it said it was! Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. This was my first time staying in TN but my family has stayed in TN multiple times. They were very impressed as well over the lodge! I would definitely stay here again and I will recommend this to my family and friends! 😊

The home was exactly as described, but no description could do this place real justice. It was peaceful, private and was extremely scenic. There were so many personal touches around the house that made our stay a tad more special and the hot tub was an extra plus! We enjoyed the secluded feeling of this property, while still being near to all the fun activities. The pool is just around the corner. Gatlinburg is less than a 30 minute drive away. The property had everything we needed to make meals for our family. The property was very spacious and perfect for hanging out during our downtime.

Very cozy and loved the trees. The roads to get there arent very wide be careful traveling through. Its nice and quiet. Wish there was a downstairs bathroom my one Friend walks with crutches. But overall it was a good time

This was our second time at this house in the mountains, we’ve stayed at cabins before but this house feels more comfortable like home, peaceful and quiet almost no traffic in this community, yet only about 13 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, local restaurants have best food and people that know how to make your dining experience enjoyable, intending on going back again next year .

This was an awesome place to stay. Not too far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but very secluded. With the exception of the street cleaner, we only saw one other car the whole week. The babling brook was a very relaxing sound to enjoy on the patio while grilling, relaxing, or playing with our son.

My Girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at this quiet cabin. If you have never been here before, or are not used to smaller mountain roads, I do not recommend coming in at night for the first time. We spent most of our time away from the cabin in Gatlinburg since this was our first time in the area. The closest pool was closed while we were visiting but that wasn’t a concern for us. We greatly appreciated the seclusion at night. We even seen a bear grazing one afternoon which was an added bonus.
