Mount View Lodge is absolutely breathtaking. We have never done Christmas away from home, so I was a bit worried I was going to lose that "tradition" feeling. We walked in and immediately felt the warmth of home!! The Christmas decor was beautiful! The decor in general was perfect. My 4 grandchildren (ages 11-19) immediately picked rooms and moved in. Each of them said, "I want a house just like this someday"! Everything was clean and fresh. The amenities were all anyone could ask for. And the beds were so comfortable!! Made me realize I need a new mattress. The view of Mt. Leconte was spectacular!! Different everyday! We loved every second we spent there. Being a homebody, I'm always ready to get home after a few days away. I actually wanted to stay longer!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back!!

We are no strangers to Gatlinburg and GSMNP, visiting 2-3 times a year, with at least 1 visit a year with other family members. This, however, was the first time we stayed together in one cabin together, and Mount View Lodge was absolutely spectacular.
The moment I walked in the cabin, I went straight to the back deck and my jaw almost fell through it...the views of Mt. LeConte are stunning! Every morning, noon, and night was incredible to view the mountain sunrise, sunset, storms roll through, and even watch a rainbow develop from barely anything to all the way across the sky! We saw numerous bear, momma and her cubs to individual roamers to great big daddy bear! By far this was the best views we've ever enjoyed in our numerous stays, and is something we will not forget for years to come!
The cabin itself was equally incredible. We had stayed in nearby cabins in years past and have seen what the cabin has looked like before and after its transformation. There is great detail and craftsmanship in every area. Having multiple areas to seclude away to and also large spaces to enjoy together contributes to a great experience for multiple families to enjoy without driving each other too insane...
Pool tourneys, movie nights, video game high score battles, covered hot tub, and s'more making kept everyone entertained while just enjoying time away from the world in this amazing cabin is just what the doctor ordered.
The owners were quick to respond to any question we had, and were an absolute pleasure to work with! Highly enjoyed, and highly recommended! Just not the week we want to return, because I already call dibs!! :D

The Mount View Lodge was a very warm, cozy, and relaxing place to stay during our visit in Gatlinburg. The view is absolutely breathtaking and you feel the presence of the wonders of nature all around you. The lodge is welcoming with everything that you need for your stay. Gorgeous and spacious rooms for your family/families to enjoy. The lodge is very close to Ober, Gatlinburg were you and your family can enjoy some amusement fun activities.

The view is Fantastic! Our family really enjoyed our weekend stay at this lovely spacious cabin. There is nothing like the beauty of the Smokey Mountains and you have the best view of them off the large upper back deck. Every part of this cabin has been newly renovated in a tasteful way with the comfort of your family in mind. The game room was a favorite for our family along with the jacuzzi on the lower deck. The is a great place to kick back and enjoy your family and the beauty of the nature around you.

This cabin was unbelievably beautiful and spacious. So much more then we were expecting.
The view of the mountains from the deck is stunning, magical and breathtaking. I just can't say enough about the view!
Short drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge but away from the two strips enough for that secluded feel on top of the mountain. The kids and adults LOVED the game room with the pool table and arcade. A perfect dining area for the family to gather. Each bedroom beautifully decorated and so comfortable, trust me you will not miss your home! This piece of heaven is fully stocked with everything you will need to make this stay a perfect one. Clean, perfect location, and all the amenities needed for relaxing and enjoying. Our family of 12 loved it! Waking up every morning to that view and the peacefulness surrounding this cabin is just priceless.
Toni and Billy are just the best! They will go out of their way to make your stay the best one ever!

If you are looking for the best cabin in the Smoky Mountains, you have hit the jackpot with this beauty!!! This cozy cabin sits perfectly on top of the mountain, above the clouds, and below the stars. The view from the back of the cabin is truly amazing! It has everything you need for a heavenly, comfortable & peaceful stay. This cabin envelopes you the minute you walk in the door and has plenty of space for your family. We love how the "kids" can hang out on the bottom floor playing pool, arcade games, and watching movies, while adults can escape to the other two floors to unwind. The wood burning fireplaces add the perfect touch of coziness. Our absolute most favorite part of this cabin is the view of the mountains . It is so gorgeous, it's indescribable. You really have to see it in person. We have been in the fall and winter and enjoyed both seasons. We can hardly wait for our next visit!

Mt. View Lodge was just what we needed for a long weekend get-away with friends! We had 11 people in our group, and had plenty of room to spread out. The cabin was super clean, and all the wood paneling and the bear-themed decor made for a cozy cabin feel. The kids enjoyed the pool table and arcade game downstairs, while the adults enjoyed playing cards and relaxing by the wood burning fireplace (no fake fireplaces on a timer). The cabin is at the top of Chalet Village, so views were amazing from the big back windows of the cabin. At night we could look down and see the lights of Gatlinburg. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful place-so excited to have found a place that I know we can return to over and over.
