Welcome to our family's forever retreat. Before this area was filled with all these people, it was like this.
Our breathtaking 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom lodge is available to rent to groups of up to 16 people for the first time. WIth spectacular, unforgettable views from the deck, a completely renovated lodge with hand-picked designer touches throughout, and 25 private, gated acres to explore, you won't find anything else like it. An unobstructed view of the mountains of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park stretches out below our deck- not another cabin or rooftop in sight. At night, an expansive view of the southern sky over the park opens up before you, with an exceptional view of the mountains and milky way from both the upper deck and the lower deck’s hot tub. Each of the five king bedrooms has a unique view of the park, a brand new memory foam mattress, and Roku TV. Two of the four bathrooms have views from the shower that would make other cabins jealous.
There is a chef’s kitchen with two cooktops, a full arcade, and two expansive levels of decks where you can sit and watch the light on the mountains change from sunrise to sunset–plus two back decks as well. In back, there is also a small fenced yard. We have two outdoor fire tables, a wood burning fireplace in the living room, a movie theater, bar, pool table, hot tub, porch swing, grill, board games, outdoor games, books and more. And while this is a place to get away from it all, with fast, reliable Starlink internet, you won’t have to worry about being disconnected.
OUTDOOR LIVING: The first thing you'll see is two enormous decks facing the Smokies- with comfy couch seating on both levels, a hot tub, porch swing, dining area and more, the entertainment here is the unparalleled view of the mountains. The decks are the perfect place to enjoy a meal together, or play corn hole, giant Jenga, or connect 4. Many guests practically live out here. We do when we're there. The regular breeze keeps the lower deck cool all summer, while the sun shines consistently on the upper deck.
Inside, you'll be immediately impressed by the huge two story living room. Sit on the couch and watch the mountains through the glass- or the 65” TV. Connect to our stereo, or cuddle up quietly in the book-nook window seat. Cozy up to the bar, or play pool, all while being in the same space together. The living room is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the Park, or our own trail. Play games, watch TV, cook a meal all with space for everyone. Settle in for a great vacation. We've had families tell us they never left the cabin the whole vacation- entertainment, space and relaxation activities for everybody.
MORE OF WHAT YOU'LL LOVE:
KITCHEN: The chef's kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your group. It has plenty of counter space, an island with seating, two cooktops, an oven, dishwasher and pantries for plenty of storage. We've provided all the dishes, glassware, silverware and cookware you are likely to need. Even kids plates and utensils. Enjoy your meals at the indoor dining area or bar seating, or outside on the decks and outside tables.
BEDROOMS: Our 5 spacious and comfortable bedrooms all have king beds with new memory foam mattresses, There is a separate twin bunk room off of the upstairs master bedroom- which makes that a good fit for families. The upstairs master has a private balcony, and a spectacular double shower that looks out over the park. Another upstairs full bathroom has both shower and tub. The main floor master has its own ensuite bathroom with rain shower- also with views of the mountains. All bedrooms have views of the mountains, and Roku TV. Our loft “library” doubles as a seventh sleeping area, with a blue velvet queen sleeper sofa. The theater also has a queen sleeper, making an 8th sleeping area.
LOWER LEVEL GAME ROOM: Go head to head on one of our several game consoles, Buck Hunter, foosball, pinball, or shuffleboard.
BAR & POOL TABLE: Challenge each other to a game of pool on the main level, or enjoy a drink at the bar.
MOVIE THEATER: The Deco inspired theater has a grand entrance, reclining rocker seats and sofa (queen sleeper), plus an adult-sized bean bag pit. Settle in and you may not want to leave. With a 75 inch TV, the theater comfortably accommodates 12 - more if you're cozy.
HOT TUB & PORCH SWING: Our hot tub will be clean and hot for you when you arrive, and the swing is the perfect place to sit and daydream.
BATHROOMS. All four full bathrooms have showers, one has a tub and two have giant, luxurious rain showers. The upstairs shower has to be seen to be believed.
LAUNDRY: New, free washer-dryer.
FENCED YARD: There is a relatively small fenced space behind the back decks.
AMENITIES: We provide a starter set of coffee filters, body wash, soap, trash bags, dishwasher liquid & laundry detergent, toilet paper & paper towels. You may need to purchase more during your stay. There is no mid-stay cleaning service included, but trash pick-up can be arranged for an additional fee. Roku TVs in every room. There is no cable, but you can sign into any service you have through the Roku.

My bf and I had a great time with a few other couples at Dream View Lodge. It was our first time to the Smokies and WOW. We were here for nature/hikes, and the cabin is close to one of the entrances to Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The cabin itself faces south over the Park and it gets amazing light all day (great for group photos).
We did a few of the touristy things in Gatlinburg and because of where the cabin is, we avoided traffic on the main parkway. The cabin is beautifully renovated and each room is thoughtfully laid out. It felt clean, luxurious, and contemporary. I loved lounging on the upstairs sofa while enjoying the perfect picture window. AM coffee on the front deck with the breathtaking views was unbeatable (don’t almost forget to pack coffee & tea like us!) Stargazing from the hot tub was A+!
David was a great host and so helpful. He’s really built such an incredible space and a beautiful sanctuary in the woods. Thank you for an amazing trip to the Smokies!

This is an awesome place for a group of friends. We came up with a big group of 14 friends, and we barely left the cabin.
Everything in the cabin is brand new and the place is really well laid out. The kitchen was big and stocked, the living area was comfortable and had enough seating for all of us to hang out, and there were different places on each floor and outside for people to have their own space.
All of the king bedrooms were super comfortable and felt really luxurious. The views from the decks are unbelievable. We spent a ton of time out on there, grilling, hot tubbing and hanging out- the upper deck gets a ton of sun and the lower deck is shaded so that was a nice balance. The views are better than the pictures, and there’s different views from all over the house. There was tons to do for everybody- a hiking trail on site, a game room with arcade games, a big theater and a pool table. Being this up in the mountains we were kinda concerned about the WiFi, but they’ve got Starlink and it worked great. Our host David was great and made everything easy.

This cabin is really A+. Other cabins we’ve stayed in didn’t feel private at all, but staying at Dream View Lodge was like being in our own little nature preserve. All you see is mountains and trees. It's about 15 minutes from the nearest National Park entrance, so we spent one day in the park and were off the trail and making dinner 30 minutes later. There is also a nice trail on the property where we took the family on little adventures.
We loved having a wood fireplace in the living room and sitting by the fire tables outside at night watching the stars. The cabin is much bigger than it looks; everything is super comfortable and well-stocked. The theater, game room, and pool table were great for evenings, especially with how early it gets dark this time of year. David is a great host and we enjoyed his place immensely.

Our group of 10 had an awesome time at Dreamview Lodge. The views of the mountain were incredible! The cabin is high above everything else, you can see for miles and miles and into the national park. Everything in the cabin is brand new, so the beds are super comfy and everything felt really luxurious. plenty of seating for everyone to be together because of the living room, bar area, kitchen and dining are all connected.
We did a lot of cooking on the grill out front, and in the kitchen, which was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Our kids love the theater and game room space they really took over the whole lower level. We adults slept in the spaces on the main floor, and especially enjoyed how so many rooms had exceptional views. We spent a lot of time on the decks, enjoying the two fire tables for grilling.
The hot tub was great. Our room, probably the most spacious of the bedrooms had the coolest shower I’ve ever used. We all agree how amazing it was!
