We truly love the Smoky Mountains and go frequently to visit the area. There were several factors that were must-haves when we purchased our home in the mountains. The most important was that the cabin be in an area that was pet friendly, thus it would need to have a yard (we learned this is not a common commodity in the mountians). We also wanted our cabin to be conviently located to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge since we spent about equal amounts of time in each city. We also wanted the roads to be easily navigated and wide enough that there were no issues when meeting on-coming traffic. And we definitely wanted a mountain view. After all, if we're going to the mountains, we wanted to be able to see them while drinking coffe or dining on the front porch. When we found Lacey's Place, we knew this was the cabin for us. It met everything on our check-off list and more.
