We are a family with 5 kids comprised of a set of twins and of triplets. Our life can be a little crazy with homeschooling and all of the kid's activities. When we get away we like to cook on the grill, read a book, play games and slow down the pace.
We love the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and the relaxing times we have enjoyed in the area. Our property search started with a goal of finding a place large enough for our family plus friends. Traffic can be bad in Pigeon Forge. So, we wanted something with easy access to everything that had great views. We like to cook on the grill, sit in the swing and enjoy lots of games and movies when we get away. So, we furnished our retreat to allow us to do all of these things. We would love to share it with you.
It is rare to find a place with all of the following: true mountain views (especially from the entire main floor); paved, gently sloped access road; flat parking for multiple cars; back road access to nearly all area attractions; close proximity to Dollywood and the other attractions; decent sized closets; city water (most places require bottled water); and a true log cabin. We added all the personal touches of a large seating area and tons of things to make a get away fun for everyone in the family.
