Majestic Oak Lodge is a beautiful 3 bedroom/3 bath luxury log cabin in a small security-gated mountain community that is centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Active lifestyle guests will find the cabin’s location incredibly convenient -- within a 15 minute radius you can be in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, at Dollywood Theme Park and Splash Country Water Adventure Park, at the brand new Ripkin Baseball Complex, shopping along the Arts and Crafts loop or any of the hundreds of other great attractions in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
If you prefer your vacation to be more about relaxation at a quiet retreat, you will love the private and peaceful setting... you can kickback in a comfy rocker on the huge, covered wraparound porch to sneak a lazy-day nap on a warm afternoon, or take a relaxing soak in the new 6-person hot tub on a cool mountain evening.
Once you are thoroughly refreshed from the beautiful surroundings of the outside, come back inside the immaculate cabin to enjoy your favorite beverage by a cozy fire or over a game of pool with a friend. Movie lovers can snuggle in for a night of High-Definition BluRay viewing from our eclectic library of DVDs or tune in to a favorite on any of the 30+ movie channel choices (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime) to enjoy on the 100+ inch HD projection screen in the theater room.
Getting there is pretty simple, and guests don't need to navigate a bunch of nail-biting windy switchback mountain roads to get to the cabin, the private road behind the gate providing access to the neighborhood is a nearly straight shot up & down the mountain. The cabin’s driveway is paved and in perfect condition and also flattens out for a huge private parking area in front of the cabin. It is worth noting however that although the driveway itself isn't especially long, it is quite steep. So, unless you're one of the Duke boys on holiday up from Hazard county & looking to take the ol' General Lee for a jump, you're not going to want to enter this driveway with a head of speed :-) Joking aside, it is a steep driveway that will certainly remind you that you are indeed in the mountains, but it's nothing to be concerned about. I would just rather let our guests know up front so there's no surprise on that first entry into the driveway.
When you rent the Majestic Oak Lodge it is all yours to enjoy with your (up to) 5 other guests. There's a private little yard that has been the focus of some recreational upgrades including a horseshoe pit area. The yard is also bordered by a wooded area of 1.5 acres of our property for you to explore or take a short hike in the woods. (please note, in response to the wild fires in Dec '16 our community has banned open wood burning bonfires...I am working through the process of getting approval to convert our wood-burning fire pit to an exterior gas log flame source and will update here once it is complete)
One important item for guests to note: Internet Access Service is an OPTION available to guests. Due to the remote location of the cabin, high-speed satellite internet service data is the sole option for Majestic Oak Lodge. Unlike conventional broadband cable/DSL service (with unlimited bandwidth usage) that most guests may be familiar with, satellite internet is an expensive (per-Gigabyte used) data service based on actual bandwidth consumption. As such, guests requiring access to the cabin’s WiFi internet service will incur an additional fee of $10 per lodging night of your stay. Weekly rentals (7 nights) will be charged a flat fee of $50
Our house rules are pretty simple and mostly common sense. Please be respectful and treat our cabin the way you would hope visitors would if it was YOUR OWN home. Pets and Smoking are strictly prohibited in the cabin for a number of reasons and will be a surefire way of ruining your opportunity to make additional memories at Majestic Oak Lodge on future visits to the area.

Cabin is beautiful and extremely well furnished and stocked !!! Gas Fireplace was perfect in the great room!! Kitchen has everything you could need !! the only negative is not about the cabin or the area at all... but about inclement weather... we were not aware that the association in this community does not pay to have the roads plowed in the event of snow / ice ( which just happened to us.. we were literally stuck for 2 days) .... While the snow was absolutely beautiful ... the ice made it impossible to drive down to the main road.... So .. just keep that in mind if you decide to take a winter trip up to this area .... But again... the cabin is wonderful and the owner and care takers went the extra mile for us !!!! I would rent again !!!!!!
This cabin is wonderful with all the amenities you could ever want, including the fireplace, hot tub, and game/theater room. It is secluded yet only a 10 min drive to downtown pigeon forge and only 15 min to downtown gatlinburg, so perfectly in the middle yet still get that hideaway feeling. Michael was a wonderful host and very prompt when needing to communicate with him. This place is spotless and cozy and perfect for a holiday getaway!
This Cabin has it all! It's clear that Michael cut no corners when furnishing this house. An serene and peaceful place that is worth so much more than what I paid for it. Potentially the best characteristic of this cabin was the location. The drive, while a little scary for a bayou native, was safe and beautiful. Also, it was located right smack in between Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg, which made it a quick drive to wherever you wanted to go. The communication and level of respect from Michael was fantastic. Everything from booking to checkout was handled with a high degree of excellence. He did a great job of giving me any information I may have needed about the cabin, or the surrounding area.
We absolutely loved out stay at Majestic Oak Lodge! We were evacuating from Hurricane Irma, so everything was done in a hurry. Michael was not only quick to respond but also very accommodation and understanding of our situation. And the cabin was AMAZING! Beautiful. Clean. Well maintained. Rustic aesthetics, but everything up to date. We loved the pool table, foosball, movie room and hot tub! Michael's communication was timely, clear and very helpful. As a long term Florida resident, this was the best hurricane party ever! I highly recommend!
We have previously stayed in an official Dollywood cabin but this property blew it out of the water - Majestic Oak Lodge is superior in every way. Inside the cabin was very clean and well maintained - not a speck of dust or dirt on any surface so kudos to the housekeeping crew. The exterior was likewise well maintained and clean - we could walk everywhere barefoot and sit on the outdoor furniture without concern. The hot tub was hot, crystal clear and properly chemically balanced. All kitchen appliances were well maintained and fully functional, plenty of utensils, cookware, crockery and silverware for preparing your own meals if desired. The dining table will comfortable seat eight if required. under the sink was sufficient dishwasher detergent, trash bags and other supplies for our entire stay - much appreciated as one of my peeves is when rental properties only supply one dishwasher tablets and nothing else forcing guests to purchase a entire box of dishwasher tablets or roll of trash bags even though you may only need a few more for your stay. Bedrooms were very comfortable with flatscreen TVs with Direct TV throughout - comfortable king sized beds and good quality linens. Bathrooms all had good fixtures and fitting - decent water pressure and heat even with multiple showers running. Plenty of bath and hand towels, mats and washcloths. Plenty of space upstairs to play Foosball and pool without disturbing others and the Theater Room with projector TV and blu ray was great. An oversized sectional sofa, cushions and throws made for a very luxurious movie watching experience. The small complimentary movie library has a little something for everyone - from young kids to adults. The owner kept in touch throughout our stay, checking that we had everything we needed which was appreciated. They even offered us the cabin earlier than the official check in time (4pm) as the housekeeping crew were done which was thoughtful. The neighborhood was gated, quiet and well maintained with no through traffic, far enough away from town that we could not hear any noise other than Dollywood's nightly fireworks . Still only about a 15-20 minute drive to the main Pigeon Forge Parkway or Dollywood though. A note about the driveway for anyone concerned... it is steep but we had no problems or concerns going up and down in a fully loaded minivan so just go slow and don't worry - it's no worse than a steep parking garage ramp. 5/5 will come again
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Oak Lodge. It is conveniently located to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The owner really takes pride in this rental. Cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Kitchen is fully furnished with any pot, pan or utensil you may need. Hot tub and pool table was a hit with my Husband and son. The outdoor table made our meals much more enjoyable. The porch swing at night with a great book is perfect. I would definitely recommend the Majectic Oak Lodge to anyone. We will rent this cabin again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Magestic Oak Lodge! The owner takes great care of the details and is very attentive to any needs that may arise. The cabin is perfect for a family vacation and is convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I would highly recommend staying at The Magestic Oak Lodge!
