We loved everything about the cabin! The location was great, bed was awesome, plenty of dishes and towels. We did not have one single complaint and honestly can’t wait to go back. It won’t be our last trip to lazy bear!!!
Cabin was very clean! The cabin had great views and a very secluded feel, which we enjoyed. Only 20 minutes from pigeon forge and 45 from Gatlinburg. They provided all towels/linens, even provided laundry and dishwashing essentials. Would recommend this cabin to anyone!
This might be the cleanest place we've ever rented.
Cabin is well furnished and property manager/owner, Cathy, was very quick to respond to any and all questions.
Seclusion and serenity, pretty close to stores and touristy things.
The drive up is hairpin at times and the internet is spotty, but that's what we loved about it. It's expected if you want to spend quiet times in the mountains.
We loved our stay and hated to leave.
We are planning to return again next year.
Thank you, Cathy.
We absolutely loved Lazy Bear and we are already trying to find a date to return!!
We stayed at Lazy Bear mid-October 2018.
The location is just wonderfully peaceful, set high up in the hilly forest area and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately we did not get sight of any bears even though we were there were plenty around. There was easy access to facilities and shops at Pigeon Forge only 15 min drive away. pigeon Forge however is a little too touristy in the busy times - great for families with kids but not for everyone.
The cabin was clean, well kept and serviced. However being new to this style of vacation and having arrived from the UK, it would have been nice to have a small welcome pack of essentials like coffee, tea, milk (even if only powdered milk), to get us settled in as there was no obvious store nearby and we had to wait till the next day to stock up on food at Pigeon Forge.
Nevertheless we had a wonderful time here and would definitely come again and will certainly recommend Lazy Bear to our family & friends.
Thank you Cathy.
Me and my husband had a wonderful time at Mrs Cathys Cabin. Everything we needed to cook was AT THE CABIN! The fireplace, the pool table, the hot tub, and Jacuzzi tub made our trip even better to relax andand enjoy our weekend together. We will be staying with you for our next trip! Thanks!!
