With it's peaceful location at the edge of a private community fishing pond, Water's Edge is not your typical cabin in the Smokies. Unlike many other cabins, you don't have another cabin right next door within view. Water's Edge is not secluded but it definitely has plenty of privacy!
Few cabins in the smokies offer a fishing pond right out your front door. Catfish, bass and bluegill await your line and no fishing license is required. Water's Edge overlooks a peaceful pond and the closest cabin is 200 feet away. Catch and release fishing only.
ROMANTIC MASTER BEDROOM
This pet-friendly log cabin may be a fisherman's paradise outside, but inside it's all about creature comforts. Beautiful vaulted wood ceilings keep this 792 square foot cabin feeling spacious. The king bedroom offers a new mattress, double sided fireplace (available Oct 1-March 31), large flat screen TV and heart shaped jacuzzi. The attached bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower.
LIVING AND DINING AREA
In the living and dining area, the stacked stone fireplace shares the focal point of the room along with a 42 inch flat screen TV. Enjoy DVD movies, Gamecube video games, free WI-FI or just check out a favorite show on TV. The sleeper sofa in the living room folds out to a queen bed. We also have a Pack-N-Play and high chair in the closet if needed.
SCREENED PORCH FOR OUTDOOR LIVING
The hot tub and outside dining area are located on a screened porch that runs the length of the cabin. Rope lights add a festive touch and since it's bug free, you'll find yourself enjoying the outdoor living space that much more. Another plus is that this porch is totally enclosed so your pets can be with you and you don't have to worry about them getting loose.
MAKE MEALS AT THE CABIN
The kitchen is compact but well outfitted for dining in. You'll have plenty of good quality kitchen wares and small appliances for making a simple snack or a big BBQ. We're foodies and believe in giving our guests the best kitchen tools we can provide, so can have fun making blended drinks with the Ninja or pulling out the crockpot for an easy meal after a day of exploring. You're on vacation, so food prep should be easy!
NO STAIRS AND EASY ROADS
One of the nicest things about Water's Edge is the ease of access. You're 4.5 miles from the heart of Pigeon Forge at Traffic Light 3--only a few minutes away. But with no steep mountain roads to climb, winter time access is very good. Plus if stairs are a concern, the cabin has a simple ramp that leads inside and all living is on one level.
WATER'S EDGE HAS A TWIN
If Water's Edge is booked over your dates, we have another very nice option: Key to My Heart. It's almost identical and is about a 2 1/2 minute walk from Water's Edge. This cabin is especially good if you need level parking for a trailer or motorcycles.
PETS ARE WELCOME
If you have more than one pet, we will consider two dogs. We welcome larger breeds with owner approval. Pet stays at Water's Edge are most welcome but we require that your dog is an adult dog, house-broken and currently on flea/tick medication. We appreciate if you bring your pet's crate so that when you leave, they are comfortable and secure.

Water's Edge cabin was far more than I expected, the pictures really don't do it justice. As soon as you walk in the door you see how well it is maintained and very clean it is. The cabin is in the perfect location and close to the parkway. There are no steep hills to get to this cabin which was a plus for me. It was well stocked, we didn't need for anything, it had everything you would need and more. We travel with our poochies and the cabin had dog treats waiting to welcome our dogs. The cabin was very inviting, very cozy, and the owner and cleaners went above and beyond to insure our stay was perfect and it was. I would definitely stay at this cabin again, everything about it was wonderful.
We absolutely loved our time at Waters Edge! The pictures do no do it justice! It’s in the perfect little area away from other cabins but not very far from the Parkway. The cleaning ladies do a wonderful job, it was so clean! There is now a flat screen in the bedroom as well. No complains at all! We would stay here again or in any Blue Mist Cabin!
It was very roomy and had a lot of modern amenities that most lack, which was a big plus! Not being at the top of the mountain in the winter was great and being in front of a beautiful pond to sit on the screened porch was so peaceful. I would just suggest they update their keurig, as it was one of the first models made and is not user friendly lol. I’m an OCD clean freak so I just noticed some things others might not but overall it was amazing and I would definitely return again!
Came for a quick romantic weekend trip. We arrived at night and were delighted to see that the cabin was well lit and all ready for us. The heat was on and the decor was stunning! The kitchen was FULLY stocked with everything. The cabin is just a short 10min drive from all The fun stuff to do in Pigeon Forge! The only negative thing I can say is this cabin is definately for the pet lovers because there was quite a bit of pet hair Inside. Other than that, it was a beautiful stay and we will probably be returning soon.
This cabin in Pigeon Forge was amazing from start to finish. We've stayed in several rental properties over the years...and there are always a few things missing here and there, but not THIS cabin. There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, dish soap, snacks, dog treats, hand soap...and a ton of other things that I'm forgetting. But there was never a time when we had to make a trip to the grocery store for one of these items. Now moving on to the cabin... absolutely amazing. The pictures don't really do it justice...but it will have to do. The porch seems larger than the pictures, the hot tub was clean and easily accessible. The kitchen had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The bed was very comfy and the tv in the bedroom has been upgraded with a newer flat-screen! We are looking forward to our next trip (without the kids) to the Smokies...and booking this cabin again.
