Note regarding pets: Pets must be preapproved. Although we would prefer you make other arrangements we have found some guests’ pets are like one of the family and heartbreaking to leave behind. We have been extremely satisfied with the care taken of our cabin by guests with pets. I love them myself and and know that it can be hard to find a higher end cabin that is also pet friendly. Please understand that our guidelines are very strict and acceptance is on a case by case basis. In order to accommodate guests with allergies I perform an extra layer of deep cleaning afterward. We stay in the cabin an average of once a month and have never detected a pet presence which is vital due to other guest's allergies. Variance of pet rules subject to significant fine. Contact me for additional information regarding acceptance PRIOR to booking.

The Summit is a great cabin that has everything a family needs to enjoy their time in Gatlinburg.304 Brown Wren Way, Gatlinburg, TN, 37738, United States
Date of Stay Dec 25, 2017
My family and I stayed in Gatlinburg in The Summit Cabin for a week during the Christmas holidays and loved everything about it. The first thing you’ll notice is the attentiveness of your hosts, Gail and Morse. They take very good care of their guests and go out of their way to ensure everyone enjoys their stay and they will make that obvious long before your arrival. Depending on the time of day that you get to the cabin and the weather, you will then notice the beautiful view the cabin has from its front porch and windows. My family was in Gatlinburg to celebrate Christmas together and Gail did an incredible job of having the entire house decorated for the holidays for us. When it comes to amenities the cabin and every room in it has just about everything 8 adults and 3 children might need during their stay. The kitchen has everything needed to cook holiday meals and the bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels and each has its own blow dryer and a seemingly endless supply of hot water. The bedrooms each have very comfortable king sized beds. Their is a huge 70 inch TV downstairs for watching football or any sporting event or movie your family would like. Overall, the cabin is a wonderful place to stay and I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg area.Mark

Staying at The Summit was a great experience. The home is beautifully decorated but cozy and comfortable. It is located in a small community surrounded by mountains and lots of trees. Every amenity is there, including plenty of clean, soft towels, laundry soap, kitchen necessities and a large collection of games for the whole family. The beds are super comfortable memory foam, and everyone got a good night's sleep. Mr. and Mrs. Conyers are friendly and attentive hosts. If we had needed anything, which we didn't, they were only a text or call away. Thanks for everything!
We rent a home every year for Thanksgiving week, and this is the first home where we had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare a complete holiday meal and a roomy table to share it at. The location is close to town and all its activities and near a nice grocery store. Because of the cool weather, we did not get to sit on the rockers on the large front porch or enjoy the hot tub, but they were definitely inviting. The community pool is right across the street for those visiting in warmer weather.
We brought two dogs with us. It's so nice finding a pet friendly place to stay. There is a gate there to block off the stairs to the lower level and another gate to put across a doorway, plus bowls and a crate that would hold a small to medium size dog. Everything has been thought out and taken care of.
If we ever travel to Gatlinburg again, we will definitely stay at the Summit. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Owner's Response: Wow thank you for that humbling review Carol! We certainly appreciate the time you put in to writing it! At The Summit, "your best vacation is our goal!" and we were so thrilled to meet you!

Loved this cabin for extended family vacation. We utilized the roomy cabin with 4 bedrooms and 2 pullout sofas. Our family included 7 persons aged 4.5 to 91. We loved sitting on the front porch with its fantastic view of Mount LeConte. The teenaged boys loved the game room and huge tv. The cabin is so close to park and all the Gatlinburg and Pigeon attractions. The road to cabin is one short, steep hill. Many cabins in this area require twists and turns and climbs to get to cabin. Summit Cabin was also close to local restaurants and grocery store. Gail and Morse were perfect hosts; Gail saw me at grocery store and asked if we were doing well and if we needed anything-took me by surprise at first, not expecting someone to call me by name in grocery store while on vacation. Had a great time at Summit Cabin reminiscing with family and creating new memories. Thank you for a sharing this beautiful cabin and its fabulous views with our families.
We had nine people in our family with us, one being an 18 month old and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was awesome and stocked with everything you can think of. We had no needs that were not met. We also had our Yorkie and there was plenty of space for walking the dogs. The cabin was spotless and extremely comfortable. We created many precious family memories! We will be back!
Home Sweet Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at The Summit! The cabin was so well decorated and cozy, making it the perfect place for us to wake up in, relax in between jaunts downtown, Pigeon Forge, or into the GSMNP, and come home to for a yummy meal and a few rounds of cards before bed. The beds and the linens were very comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The views from the front porch (where we spent a LOT of our time) were lovely. (Seeing a bear stroll right in front of the cabin one day was also a nice touch:) The kitchen had everything we needed. And the hot tub, well, it made for a great way to start or finish the day. From booking, to our arrival, to our departure, Gail went above and beyond to make our stay worthy of 5 stars. I've never had someone who cares so much about hospitality and the comfort of her guests. To top it all off, she left the sweetest little stuffed Smoky Mountain bear for my little one. He loved it, and I know he, like the rest of the family, will cherish the memories from our trip to Gatlinburg for a long time to come. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!
