It was perfect for our family everyone had plenty of room. I would definitely recommend!
The place was great and well maintained. we enjoyed our time in the cabin and in the Gatlinburg area. We would love to return.
Great location. Close to everything. Clean and comfortable. Eric and Danielle are very responsive and quick to take action if needed. We would stay here again! My kiddo loved the rocking horse and we enjoyed the hot tub. Pool table was good fun.
Our family of 14 stayed in Eric's Gatlinburg home for 8 nights during December 2017. We all agree it was our favorite vacation! When we arrived, the "owners" greeted us as well - a Mama bear and her 2 cubs! Of course, it was very exciting, but we were a bit relieved that we didn't see them again the entire week.
This home is ideal for a large family or group with different ages - nice and comfy enough to feel like a retreat, but not so fancy or formal that we felt nervous about the smaller children (except we did use extra caution on the upper level porch). The updates to the bathroom and kitchen add a tasteful touch to the house, and I understand that more updates are actually in the works. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table daily. Though it doesn't have a panoramic view of the mountains, the sunsets from the spacious front porches were stunning. Very convenient location close to the town of Gatlinburg and a hop and skip from the National Park. There's even a fairly affordable convenient store just down the road. We enjoyed biking around Cades Cove, visiting "Wood-n-Strings" in Townsend, going to the Titanic and Ripley's Aquarium, visiting the candy shops downtown, hiking to a waterfall, and then coming home nightly to sit around the extra-large table together to enjoy a nice hot meal, prepared in the very well-stocked kitchen! They even thought to provide a high chair and stroller - much to our surprise!
We really hope we get to go back. Eric was very hospitable, helpful, friendly, and made us feel right at home in his beautiful Gatlinburg home. Thank you, Eric!

We booked this beautiful house for our family vacation. We had 10 people & we were all very comfortable. It was perfect! The house was very clean, well equipped, & was close to all the activities we had planned. We really enjoyed our stay there. We contacted the owners with a question & they replied right away. It was almost like being home. Our thanks to the Brown family for making sure the house had everything we needed for our stay. We would absolutely stay there again.
Everything we needed. Owner was great to work with. Got to see lots of wildlife, including a momma bear and 2 cubs. Great vacation spot.
We were very pleased with our stay, the cabin was very well cleaned and was huge. We had to reach out to the owners with a couple question both before and during our stay and they were always quick to respond.
My family and I spent our first family vacation here and it was great. The house accommodated everyone in my family and it was nicely furnished. We were in close proximity to the local attractions.
Our group of 14, ages 3-50, had a great time at the house. The house was clean and up to date. Furniture, beds, and blankets were clean and comfortable. The owners, Eric & Danielle, were quick to respond to any inquiry. The neighborhood association had a nice sized unheated pool. The playground was closed for maintenance. Note that the entry level is the media room with pool table, and one bedroom with bunks and the kitchen and living room are located on the second level. This setup worked well for us. The house is located a short distance from the main drag of Gatlingburg. Parking for 5 cars was a little tight but doable.
Our group has been meeting up over 20 years at different locations across TN, WV, VA and this house ranked among our top 5. Thanks for the stay.
Our family had a great stay is this large, renovated home. Eric and Danielle were excellent hosts. They provided quick answers to our every question and were very hospitable. This home is very large and will comfortably hold a large family or extended family with room to spare. The kitchen/dining room/living room area was the highlight of the home with it's abundance of room and renovated decor. The new hot tub was a hit with the kids. The roads to this home are not overly steep and the driveway is actually flat and not straight up the side of the mountain. Provides easy access to Gatlinburg and the other areas of the national park. I would certainly recommend this home year-round and if you are able to get an off-season, mid-week discount, as we did, it is the best bang for the buck of any cabin we have ever rented. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
