10 mature, wooded acres with private road, bordering the park with a large creek! (Greenbrier) Fishing ok! Pets accepted at no extra cost! Having a private road that circles the property, you can walk through the woods, around the garden area or by the creek where there are two "common areas", with pick-nick tbl., fire pit and hammock! The cabin has its own fire pit, pick-nick table and grill in the backyard! Fully furnished with queen bed in the main BR and full size in the other. Washer and dryer in the bathroom. Only 20 min. to Gatlinburg, 40 min. to Pigeon Forge (Dollywood) - 20 min. to Hartford, Tennessee (11 white water rafting companies), 1 hour to Cherokee, Asheville (Biltmore), Maggie Valley, Hot Springs NC The property also features organic flower and vegetable gardens (agro-tourism) and is just 5 min. from the Cosby Entrance into the park! The creek has native and rainbow trout! No license needed (on the property) Cosby is a rural community that is not developed with all the crowds and traffic, but has the convenience that the whole area has to offer, without being in the boonies. The property is 3 blocks off the main Hwy. 321, 17 miles from Gatlinburg.
Convenience is always important, breakfeast,hamburgers, pizza,DJ's Market & Deli (within walking distance). We have several restaurants within 7 miles, Doc`s Cafe (1/4 mile) Magnolia Tree (1 mile) Carvers Farm Market, Apple house Restaurant & Apple-barn with local produce (5 miles). Daily promotions like chicken and dumplings, rainbow trout or catfish, very good breakfast. Mamma's Broster Chicken 10 min Good chicken and the best chicken livers! Janice's Diner (special homemade pies and cakes from the county) (7 miles) 20 min. the city for food, and 20 min. to Wall Mart. Only about 15 miles from the NC border. Many guests enjoy visiting: Cataloochee Valley (Elk), as well as Hot Springs, Baltimore Estate in NC, while they can enjoy all that the mountains have to offer here in East Tn. This is one of the best places that the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer for a truly unique vacation that isn't in town.
Check-in - 4pm. Check out at 10am. Due to our adherence to the procedure, cleanliness and strict guidelines, we give time to ensure that the cabins are properly cleaned, with plenty of toilet paper towels, paper towels, soap etc.
Facilities; The cabin is on the stream, with a backyard with its own fire pit, hammock, picnic table, barbecue with swing and table with chairs on the balcony overlooking the stream. The cabin has a queen size bed, washer / dryer, TV-DVD player, Wi Fi dining table (high speed class), and is fully furnished.

The cabin was the perfect size for our family of three and our dog. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and it was very clean. We enjoyed hiking around the property and the sounds and views of the creek behind the cabin. I would definitely come back.

This has been a much needed anniversary getaway for my husband and I. He knew I have been wanting to see snow, since I have now lived in Florida for 27 years after growing up in Ohio...I miss it sometimes. By chance, we got a big storm on our trip timeline and it all worked out! We arrived a day earlier than expected, and were lucky enough for this piece of paradise to be available for the 3 nights needed. It truly is a gem!! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Everything we wanted and needed it to be! I LOVE the fact that it is not decorated in the overly done "cabin look" of plaid, bears, and trees, but instead with original artwork of the owner and animal prints. Being pet friendly, we also brought our 7 year old dog, who has never traveled, so he got to experience snow for the first time!! I will always hold the memories made here in my heart. The creek was quite full from localized flooding rains, and the sound was amazing to sleep to. I honestly can't wait to come back!! We hope to bring our grandsons in the future, and make more memories in this special place!! Thank you Chris for being so helpful!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was extremely peaceful listening to the water flowing behind the cabin. There was a slight miscommunication with the property manager that was cleared up as far as directions go. Only suggestion would be to possibly be to add a lock box for the key, but that’s really owner preference. Over all, it was a great experience and we will likely stay again.
